Joint Proposal for a Compromise decision on agreeing one measurement point for recycling and one calculation method
Following many months of deliberations, both internally and with a wide group of stakeholders encompassing all interests, we are now pleased to share a proposal which has been agreed to by ourselves and CEEP. This proposal results from the work of our experts and the experts of a wide range of stakeholders, in the hope that it will assist in arriving at a workable compromise which is based on technology and practice on this most complex and political of issues.

Amendments to the Council Proposal for the Waste Framework Directive (WFD)
We drafted a proposal on the adaptation of certain articles of the Waste Framework Directive which are currently under discussion. The document includes reasoning for our proposals and we remain at stakeholders' disposal for further discussion and clarification.

Recommendation to include reporting obligation for commercial and industrial waste in this revision of the waste directives
We issued a joint recommendation for the monitoring and analysis of the viability of future targets on reuse, recycling and landfilling of commercial and industrial waste, co-signed by local authorities, public service providers, environmental organisations and waste operators.
