This proposal results from the work of our experts and the experts of  a wide range of stakeholders, in the hope that it will assist in arriving at a workable compromise which is based on technology and practice on this most complex and political of issues.

We drafted a proposal on the adaptation of certain articles of the Waste Framework Directive which are currently under discussion. The document includes reasoning for our proposals and we remain at stakeholders' disposal for further discussion and clarification.

We issued a joint recommendation for the monitoring and analysis of the viability of future targets on reuse, recycling and landfilling of commercial and industrial waste, co-signed by local authorities, public service providers, environmental organisations and waste operators.
